Service Description

In this 2-day instructor course students will walk through how to navigate running a pistol mounted optic on a handgun. Students will understand the advantages and disadvantages of a red dot, how to negotiate obstacles like water/mud/fog, and build confidence in the use of their optic. If you are a firearms instructor looking to build an optics program for your agency or new to a red dot, this course will give you the tools and resources to confidently carry. Training Topics: • Use of optic and suppressor height sights • Advantages/ disadvantages of a red dot • Zeroing procedures • Overcoming obstacles • Acceptable sight picture • Trigger management and trigger pulls • One handed operations • Shooting on the move • Low and no light with a red dot • Use of cover
